1. Application scope:
This Automatic Wheel set Dismount Press machine is applicable for the disassembly work of the locomotive wheelsets. It's a double-end cylinder design. Only one operator required to complete the whole operation procedure.

3. Machine features:
1) The wheel press machine is a horizontal hydraulic wheel press and will be installed in a foundation pit.
2) The wheelset press is able to dismount both wheels on the same axle simultanously without turning the axle.
3) Double ram cylinders for dismounting. One time wheelset positioning to dismount the 2 wheel discs without reversal of the axle.
4) Overall gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
5) Movable slider device with at 2 replaceable inserts to block the wheels, gears or brake discs for dismounting. It's the original patent in China.
6) Special patented Centring mechanism at both ends of two ram cylinders for center hole positioning.
7) Electrical wheelset support trolley for wheelset transportation. The trolley will exit the machine during the dismounting process.
8) Gearbox support is provided to support the gearbox. The gearbox will be supported during the whole dismounting process.
9) Siemens S7-300 PLC and AdvanTech Industrial computer to control the operation.
10) The press can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer.
11) Only one operator is required to complete the whole dismounting process.
12) High pressure oil injection pump is option for easy wheel dismounting.
