Railway Wheelset Fitting Press, Horizontal Hydraulic Wheel Press Machine

1. Application Scope

This wheel press-fitting machine is used to mount and dismount the wheelset wheels for the railway rolling stocks.
(This hydraulic wheel press is also widely used in mining, steel and mechanical applications for assembly and disassembly of motor bearings, bushings, rotors of electric machines and other workpieces.)

3. Machine Features

1) Single hydraulic cylinder to mount and dismount the wheelsets.
2) It requires to reverse the axle (180°) to mount or dismount the other wheel after one wheel operation completed.
3) With recording system to record, save and generate the pressing curve of force vs displacement.
4) The wheel press mainly consists of cylinder column, resistant column, rear column, support rods, chassis, caliper claws, support trolleys, hydraulic system and eletrical control system.
5) With 2 support trolleys for supporting the axle. Manually move the trolley and adjust the support height to meet the different wheelsets.
6) With Siemens PLC and AdvanTech industrial PC to control and monitor the operation.
7) A displacement sensor at the end of the piston rod for real-time detecting the displacement and displaying it on the screen.
8) A pressure sensor at the end of the ram cylinder for real-time detecting the pressing force and displaying it on the screen.
9) A high-pressure oil injection pump is option for easy wheel dismounting.
